Who are we? What do we do?

Vital Balms is a retail brand for cosmetics with beneficial effects and health-improving products. Our products are divided into three main groups. The first group is routine – for morning or evening beauty procedures and for nourishing the skin, hair, and body. The second group is protection – for exposing to adverse atmospheric conditions and for personal hygiene. The third line is therapy – for satisfaction of health needs and treatment of the skin and hair, preventing rashes and allergic reactions. We supply only high-quality organic and natural cosmetics, proven to have positive effects. We are also a team of good people! :)

Our Story

Crafting

In 2018 we started crafting a handmade ointment as a hobby. We used oils and bee wax. Once we packed a small amount, we started distributing it by word of mouth. After one year, the feedback was great and the results were proven. The ointment fought burns, helped with healing wounds, and prevented the forming of scars. One later we upgraded the product by adding calendula. We randomly received orders from people to whom our customers recommended our product.

Pre-concept and testing 

Distributing our handmade ointment for two years, we found out that plenty of local Eastern European brands already produced similar natural products of high quality. We realized how much effort and capital these producers invested in developing their products and achieving compliance with cosmetic standards. We felt great respect for them and we decided to start distributing their products and cooperating with them. The idea for the website emerged in October 2020. From 2021 to 2022 we successfully tested our first webshop in the local market. After receiving great feedback and inquiries from different countries, we decided to go international.

Brand Development & Launching

We  picked up the date 22.1.22 to start developing Vital Balms as a brand. This date symbolizes unity in the same way, we unite all the great producers into one platform.

Our Values

The slogan of Vital Balms is “health is wealth”. We stand behind it as we firmly believe that we should stop paying attention only to external beauty, harming ourselves and nature. Today a great number of brands and their customers are obsessed with appearance and we do understand how important is this. However, we prioritize good health and well-being over the desire to cover any fashion and beauty criteria. This is the reason why we stay focused on love and care for people and the environment.

Vital Balms does not support GMOs, chemicals, synthetics, and petroleum by-products in mass cosmetics. Instead, we support scientifically developed means and methods for natural healing and maintaining beauty. While we do not reject chemistry, we believe that nature provides us with alternatives to conventional pharmacy and medicine.

At Vital Balms, we really care about ecology. We think that people deserve to feel good in their bodies and to live more informed, with a responsibility to themselves, and also to nature. For this reason, we do not compromise on quality and comfort, offering only products and solutions that we have verified to have positive impacts. 

We are here to help. Vital Balms is not the type of brand that will desperately try to sell. (In fact, we can’t stand shops that advertise aggressively with the mere aim to increase their sales). As we mentioned in our story, we invested loads of time and effort to deliver to our customers a holistic approach to personal care. We strongly believe that each innovation comes for a reason when the time is right.
